Our group is dedicated to studying the health effects of occupational exposures, with particular attention to the healthy worker survivor effect (HWSE). To date, we have applied causal and other new methods to large cohort studies of autoworkers, textile workers and aluminum manufacturing workers. Among other projects, we are currently interested in adapting existing causal methods to address HWSE in longitudinal studies without sacrificing quantitative exposure information.
